Southern- to Central Vietnam! You will love it. It's also still relatively cheap, once you get there. Northern Vietnam is pretty bleak in the winter, but still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAlternately (or, if you have enough time, during the same trip), Yunnan province in southwest China, although not during the lunar new year, when most tourist destinations get crowded and hotel prices go up steeply.
I'll be going to Vietnam in the summer with my dad! I am very excited about it for sure!
DeleteGreat! Well, then, you could just cross by ferry to Qingdao and travel the east coast of China. We did a Beijing-Nanjing-Suzhou-Shanghai-Taishan-Beijing trip this spring with my wife in two weeks (which is very tight schedule, it should have been at least 3 weeks).
