5 photos for Brugges

On the Friday of our Easter trip, we hopped on the train and headed from Brussels to Brugge. Ignoring the fact that we were able to take a train essentially across the country in just over an hour, it did seem like we arrived in a different world. And in many ways we did. French to Flemish, modern to ancient, administrative to quaint. Again, there wasn't a lot to actually do in Brugges, but that suited mine and Lyla's sight-seeing style of walk-around-then-have-a-snack quite fine.
 Cobblestone streets! Churches! Adorable! Twee!
The famous Belfry Tower. We did not climb it as there was a line. There was also the makings of some sort of concert in front of it, which means that all my photos of it wound up at strange angles.
